LulzSec Says “That’s All Folks” to 50 Day Hacking Cruise

Like the end of "Looney Tunes" the hacking group Lulzsec (aka The Lulz Boat aka Lulz Security) issued its "That’s All Folks!" announcement today that it would disband as a group and dump it’s last release of data gathered during its 50 day "Hacking Cruise." Over the course of these 50 days LulzSec hacked into numerous corporate and government websites including PBS, CIA, FBI affiliate InfraGard , Sony and others. With a unique flair and sense of humor, The Lulz Boat developed partnerships (such as the #AntiSec campaign with Anonymous) and leveraged its technology and hacking expertise (along with over 270,000 Twitter followers) to make both major headlines and a cadre of equally talented and committed enemies such as "The Jester." Despite today’s announcements it will be some time before the The Lulz Boat cruise and story is forgotten.

Hackers Wanted is an unreleased American documentary film. Directed and written by Sam Bozzo, and narrated by actor Kevin Spacey, watching this film will be very informative to those interested in learning more about the world of hacking amidst current events related to topics such as CyberSecurity, Hacktivism and groups such as WikiLeaks, Anonymous and LulzSec.

Hackers Wanted is a fascinating exploration of the history, culture and state of hacking with particular focus on the journey of hacker Adrian Lamo who has since played a major role in events surrounding WikiLeaks, and is the FBI’s star witness against Bradley Manning.

Hacking the Focus of New U.S. “CyberSecurity” Strategy

Wikileaks-Movie.com Alert – New U.S. CyberSecurity Strategy. In recent days Hackers have made headlines. We’ve witnessed the LulzSec (or Lulz Boat) “Tupac” hacking of PBS after the WikiSecrets Frontline documentary was released. Also, the recent hacker attack on the systems of defense contractor Lockheed Martin, which provides critical equipment and resources to the US Military, has drawn major attention. Prior to these events there was the high-profile infiltration of Google (likely by China), Sony, and action taken by hacktivists associated with Anonymous who infiltrated HB Gary, PayPal and other companies who took action against Wikileaks. The new U.S. CyberSecurity Strategy will be introduced in June and early indications threaten serious military action against large scale hackers who can be identfied. Whether this strategy will address decentralized hacker networks such as LulzSec (The Lulz Boat) or focus on larger nation-backed hacking initiatives remains to be seen.

Wikileaks-Movie.com Alert! The PBS website has been attacked by Hackers frustrated by the recent portrayal of Julian Assange and Wikileaks in the televised special “WikiSecrets.” Officials from PBS confirm that hackers have infiltrated the website of the network, posting a story for "Lulz" on the topic of Tupac Shakur. Hackers are having a substantial impact in the ongoing story of Wikileaks, Julian Assange and Bradley Manning with numerous companies, organizations and websites finding themselves the target of attack by Hackers. A group calling itself "LulzSec" and "The Lulz Boat" has taken responsibility for this hacking attack and posted links to other hacktivist attacks.
