Wikileaks-Movie.com UPDATE– Victoria Nuland replaces P.J. Crowley as State Department Spokesperson. In March 2011, P.J. Crowley submitted his resignation to U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton following comments made at MIT on the treatment of accused Wikileaker Bradley Manning. Leading up to this announcement Mark Toner had served as Crowley’s interim replacement. As Nuland comes on board, Mr. Toner will now serve as Deputy Spokesman.

P.J. Crowley, whose comments on Bradley Manning sparked his resignation as Chief State Department loudspeaker for Hillary Clinton, is now within weeks a diplomatic and public policy rock star, He has increased prestige and political standing for his succinct commentary on Wikileaks, Bradley Manning, Libya and a host of other issues. Here’s a bit of background: Bradley Manning got thrown into Quantico where his “harsh” treatment has sparked a global protest. Crowley, while speaking to a small group at that relatively unknown junior college for low IQ jocks called MIT , let his personal views escape that he had a problem with how Manning was being treated. As a high level official working for Obama and Clinton, Crowley’s comments were not consistent with the “official” stance on Bradley Manning. So within a few days Crowley resigned, one of the first high level US Government resignations as a result of Wikileaks. This was a big deal and continues to be a big deal. And thanks to Crowley’s political twitterliness and short, straight-to-the-point commentary (http://twitter.com/#!/PJCrowley) and his military and political background, he is becoming a force to be reckoned with. Crowley reminds us of a slower talking version of a super smart Howard Dean without the loud public outbursts.

U.S. Ambassador to Ecuador Heather Hodges Expelled Over Wikileaks Police Corruption Cables

U.S. Ambassador down in Ecuador over Wikileaks Cables. A top U.S. ambassador, Heather Hodges, has been booted from her post by top Ecuadorian government officials after a recent Wikileaks “Cablegate” release. This is the third recent resignation or re-assignment (Carlos Pascual, P.J. Crowley being the others) in the ongoing Wikileaks saga, a series of changes which will no doubt be chronicled in a Wikileaks movie, film or documentary. The Wikileaks cables in question, which were authored or at least approved by Heather Hodges, surfaced her observations that President Rafael Correa was aware of rampant corruption in the police department but doing nothing about it. As resignations of top U.S. government ambassadors and officials continue, the story of Wikileaks, Julian Assange and Cablegate will continue to flourish. For writers and producers of Wikileaks books, movies, films and documentaries it \must be exciting-but-daunting to take on Wikileaks and Julian Assange at this time.

Pfc. Bradley Manning, whose name is carved permanently in whistleblower and Wikileaks Movie history, brandished a knife while threatening his stepmother in 2006. This story emerges after a recent PBS Frontline coverage on Wikileaks, with particular focus on the life history of Bradley Manning. Manning first made headlines after surfacing as the whistleblower responsible for the massive leak of US diplomatic cables to Wikileaks who then embarked on Cablegate to make those classified and secret documents available to the public via various news agency partnerships. After Manning was turned in he was jailed at Virginia’s Quantico prison where his treatment came under fire from various dignitaries and organizations including P.J. Crowley, who later resigned over his comments regarding the “stupid” treatment of Bradley Manning.

Future Wikileaks Movie character P.J. Crowley, whose Bradley Manning comments resulted in his resignation from the US Government, has surfaced in the UK’s Guardian to “stand by” his remarks. In his Op-Ed article titled “Why I called Bradley Manning’s treatment ‘stupid’” P.J.Crowley goes to great lengths to articulate his perspective. In this article he provides specific reasoning behind his remarks about Bradley Manning’s treatment, delivered to a small group at MIT. He also provides broader commentary on Wikileaks, CableGate and other topics relating to the release of US Diplomatic cables and communications by Wikileaks, Bradley Manning and Julian Assange. For standing firm behind his beliefs and convictions, P.J. The resignation of P.J. Crowley, US State Department Spokesman, over his Bradley Manning comments provides great opportunity for the Wikileaks Movie teams and demonstrates the unequivocal impact of Wikileaks, Julian Assange and Bradley Manning on global affairs. The Wikileaks film and movie teams have so much to work with including this recent resignation of a top US Government official. But what is more interesting is the story of Crowley, who serves as Assistant Secretary of State for Public Affairs and right hand mouthpiece for Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. In the recent weeks Crowley made a series of remarks about Egypt, Japan and Bradley Manning that have angered the Secretary of State, the Department of Defense and President Obama.
