Artists “Leaking” Visions Series — Interview with “Wikileaks Inspired” Artist Michael Parenti, aka @exiledsurfer

Wikileaks Movie, The Great Leak Forward by @ExiledSurfer

Wikileaks-Movie.com is pleased to share this interview with world renowned Wikileaks inspired artist Michael Parenti (aka @exiledsurfer). He is a devoted artist who likes tacos, enjoys playing “Politricks,” was taught to surf by Sean Penn and….gave us goosebumps when he wrote to us on what motivates him as an artist…”That is the How, and the Why i do it. I have to, otherwise i wouldn’t be me.” This is first of what we hope will be many articles and interviews about artists, film makers and cultural creatives who are somehow taking part in broad and wide-ranging discussion sparked by Wikileaks and Julian Assange. We strive to raise awareness of these talented visionaries and…well…see where the wave takes us. Enjoy and we extend our best wishes and thanks to @exiledsurfer Michael Parenti for allowing us (and you) to ride along on his creative surfboard.

Osama Bin Laden Movie — Will Al Pacino play CIA Director Leon Panetta? Al Pacino Films include Scarface, The Godfather, Scent of a Woman, Serpico…

osama-bin-laden-movie-al-pacino-leon-panetta

Will Al Pacino play the role of CIA Director Leon Panetta in the upcoming Osama Bin Laden Movie? Movie fans who have been actively following Wikileaks Movie news definitely have some other movies to talk about. We recently wrote about the Osama Bin Laden movie in the works by writer Mark Boal and Director Kathryn Bigelow. And now, straight from the likes of Politico.com and Leon Panetta there’s a great discussion going on regarding which actor should play his role in the Osama Bin Laden Movie. This may be a tangent from our pure focus on all things Wikileaks, but since Julian Assange and Wikileaks have released information on the War on Terror, Guantanamo Bay (Gitmo) and the secret (or perhaps not so secret) location of Bin Laden we hope you agree with this “stretch” into related movie terrain. Leon Panetta, as the Director of the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), definitely has a foot in both worlds of Wikileaks, Al Qaida and Bin Laden. Perhaps he will be featured in both movie projects by the same actor? Wouldn’t that be crazy? Probably unlikely but who knows!!!

A Movie & Film Producer’s Dream : Wikileaks Releases Only “The Tip of The Iceberg”

WikileaksWPP1_by-Exiled-Surfer

It’s a dream situation for Wikileaks movie and film producers. Julian Assange, in an exclusive interview with RT, has indicated that recent Wikileaks releases are only “the tip of the iceberg.” Think the Guantanamo Files and Collateral Murder video are as sensational and high-impact as it gets? Well…think again.

Guantanamo Files & Wikileaks: Explosive Material for Forthcoming DVD, Movie and Film Projects

(Source: "Flag" by NewsHour)

The recent Wikileaks release of over 700 Guantanamo Files, purported to be obtained via CD or DVD by Wikileaks, has further brought to light the impact of Bradley Manning, Julian Assange and the organization he founded to create “total transparency.” The last 48 hours has witnessed a flurry of press coverage analyzing this story from all angles and US Government statements condemning this latest release. At Wikileaks-Movie.com we are soaking it in, imagining how this latest turn of events will be interpreted by the DreamWorks Studios of the world incorporated into the Wikileaks movie, film and documentary projects. Moreover how will creative artists like Courage is Contagious and the Exiled Surfer interpret all of this visually? Supposedly there is a DVD on Wikileaks to be released in early May. This comes right after James Spione’s film on “Collateral Murder” was featured at Tribeca. It’s too late for these DVD and film projects to weave in the GITMO files, but you can bet that the Guantanamo Files will be an interesting subject of focus in future productions.

A Wikileaks Movie & Film Original: Influential Raffi Khatchadourian Article in the New Yorker

julian_assange___truth_by_gas01ine-d350ky1

Please read this Wikileaks Movie and Film original. In the Summer of 2010, Raffi Khatchadourian penned an article for the New Yorker which provided an in-depth view into the world of Wikileaks and Julian Assange. At the time, there were very few articles that brought the reader into the day-to-day workings of this organization during its quest for “total transparency” and game changing impact in the world of journalism and diplomacy. The article begins by flying the reader into “Project B” as Julian Assange and team set up shop in Reykjavik, Iceland to work on the release of the now famous “Collateral Murder” video. And from here we are treated to a nearly 10,000 word journey inside the world of Wikileaks and the enigmatic Julian Assange. This literary gem has since been rumored as source material for an upcoming Wikileaks and Julian Assange Movie and Film.
