The 2011 thriller film The Whistleblower starring Rachell Weisz opens in theaters August 5, 2011. Directed by filmmaker Larysa Kondracki and written by Kondracki in collaboration with Eilis Kirwan, the film highlights the true story of Kathryn Bolkovac. In The Whistleblower, a police officer (Rachell Weisz) risks her safety and employment to to reveal systemic, large-scale, human trafficking and sex slave scandal in post war Bosnia. This scandal involves U.S. military contractors in addition to UN employees.
