The fundraising effort by WikiLeaks, which is in need of funds to sustain itself organizationally, includes an exclusive Lunch with Assange eBay auction as well as the use of controversial new Bitcoin virtual currency. With regards to the “Lunch with Assange,” a small group of “Eight admirers of Julian Assange can bid on a 3 hour dinner ‘in one of the best restaurants in London’.” Interested bidders and donors are making bids now at eBay.
