Bradley Manning Play by the National Theatre of Wales, Written by TV Writer Tim Price, Coming in 2012

A Bradley Manning Play is in the works by the National Theatre of Wales. Titled “The Radicalisation of Bradley Manning” the play is written by TV writer Tim Price and will center around Bradley Manning’s teenage years in Haverfordwest. Multiple movies, documentaries and plays focusing on the interwoven stories of WikiLeaks and Bradley Manning face a tough crowd given the importance these stories. The recent WikiLeaks Play “Stainless Steel Rat” received a range of reviews, including scathing critiques by WikiLeaks supporters. This Bradley Manning Play will no doubt face the same level of scrutiny given the global impact of Manning’s role as accused WikiLeaks whistleblower.

Given that these interpretations have an impact on the public’s perception and understanding of this important story it is in the public’s vital interest to exchange direct, honest reviews to inform opinion. Wikileaks-Movie.com is pleased to introduce Clark Stoeckley, driver of the world’s first Wikileaks Truck called the “WikiLeaks Top Secret Mobile Information Collection Unit” and member of the Anonymous Theater Art Group. As many have remarked, when it comes to the Wikileaks story, “You just can’t make this s__t up!” The issues are serious but there is plenty of room and an important role for levity, art and theatrics.

Another Wikileaks Movie? No…a Wikileaks Play for Theatre Lovers…Focused on Making a Wikileaks Film!

Wikileaks Movie & Film Projects abound but it’s about time that a Wikileaks Play or “Wikiplay” is developed for Theatre Lovers. Thanks to @issylvia for sharing the news about this play called “Stainless Steel Rat” directed by Wayne Harrison and starring Sydney-based actor Darren Weller in the star role as Julian Assange. The Wikiplay will open Sydney’s Seymour Centre the next month on June 30, 2011 and will be centered around the story of a movie and film director producing a film about Wikileaks and Julian Assange. Hilarious! One wonders whether the actual Wikileaks movie and film directors Alex Gibney, Charles Ferguson or Marc Shmuger will be interviewed?
