Wikileaks Documentary and Julian Assange Movie & DVD fans, here is a fresh round of film, movie and documentary news you have been waiting for….and there are movie trailers too! First, within the next month the DVD “Julian Assange – A Modern Day Hero? Inside the World of Wikileaks” will be available for purchase. The release date, as noted on Amazon, is in early May 2011. Secondly, We have learned that the Tribeca Film Festival will feature Director James Spione’s “Incident in New Baghdad” which highlights U.S. Army specialist Ethan McCord who witnessed and was one of the first to respond to the incident, later released on film by Wikileaks, called Collateral Murder. We’ve kept you abreast of recent news, including PornWikileaks and U.S. Ambassador to Ecuador Heather Hodges. Twitter Wikileaks Case Matters, but PornWikiLeaks and Assange Dance Video Spark Interest

Wikileaks Movie fans…the Twitter Wikileaks case is important! While PornWikileaks takes center stage along with the Julian Assange dance video (aka DiscoLeaks) it is important to highlight the ongoing news in the “Twitter Three” Wikileaks & Twitter Case. This is the case that ensures Twitter’s role in the Wikileaks Movie. Recall the Virginia court case mandating that Twitter hand over data on the “Twitter Three.” Well, as usual, an appeal has been filed, but a powerful appeal supported via amicus brief by a cluster of noted computer and security professionals who are concerned about the legal implications of this Wikileaks / Twitter case. These computer scientists and citizens include Steven Bellovin, Bruce Schneier, Susan Landau and others. They work at and represent organizations such as The Radcliff Institute, SRI International and Harvard. Wikileaks is not only having tremendous impact on the field of journalism but is also raising implications for the legal system and its intersection with emerging technology. This sort of impact and information is important for Wikileaks Movie and film buffs to follow.
