LulzSec hacker suspect is arrested in the UK. A British teenager, Ryan Cleary, has been arrested in a joint police operation in the UK and is suspected of being a mastermind behind the international computer hacking group LulzSec (aka LulzSecurity & The Lulz Boat). LulzSec has denied Cleary is a part of their hacker group via Twitter.

The arrest of the 19-year-old comes just days after the group claimed it brought down the US Central Intelligence Agency’s website, along with many other high profile government and corporate websites. Scotland Yard immediately launched an investigation and detectives from the force’s E-Crime Unit swooped in on the teen’s home in Wickford, Essex, on Monday.

The LulzSec Hackers targetting PBS. CyberWars. China hacking Google…again. What??? These are topics many of us struggle to get our arms around. At Wikileaks-Movie.com we are interested in all things Wikileaks and ourselves are working to learn more about the role of hacking and hacktivists in this story. This week’s news about the LulzSec “hack” into PBS sure got us thinking as has that “Hacktivism” of Anonymous. With this in mind we have attempted to put together our perspective and some resources for your review.
