Earl Anthony Wayne Replaces Carlos Pascual
Earl Anthony Wayne will serve as the new Ambassador to Mexico, taking the post vacated since the resignation of Carlos Pascual. Pascual resigned earlier this year after WikiLeaks cables disclosed his critique of Mexican authorities and President Felipe Calderón.
Earl Anthony Wayne most recently served as deputy ambassador to Afghanistan. Wayne, a California native, earned a Political Science degree in Political Science from Berkeley as well as Master’s degrees in Political Science and Public Administration from Stanford, Princeton and Harvard.

The United States Senate on Tuesday unanimously confirmed Earl Anthony Wayne as ambassador to Mexico. The former ambassador, Carlos Pascual, resigned in March after a public dispute with President Felipe Calderón of Mexico over embassy documents released by WikiLeaks. The documents showed him and other American officials criticizing Mexican authorities for their performance in the country’s drug war. Mr. Wayne, a career diplomat, previously served as deputy ambassador to Afghanistan.

Dear Mr. Ambassador Wayne;
I’m just an American seeking help from my represenatives. My God son was brought here to the USA when he was a child, did well in school and had dreams to become a teacher and work with trouble teens. Two years ago all this was taken away, he was deported to Mexico. I go to Tijuana monthly, I have little money but I do all I can to help him, he is like a fish out of water there.
So I’m writting Your Honorable Ambassador Wayne, to extend some help so we can bring our boy home were he belongs. He has never committed any crimes other than being brought here as a child, no fault of his own. He is as American as any othe kid and is deeply missed.
Please, if there is anything you can do to help I will be deeply indebted to you.
