Hackers Attack PBS Website & Network in Response to "WikiSecrets" Televised Exclusive

Wikileaks-Movie.com Alert! The PBS website has been attacked by Hackers frustrated by the recent portrayal of Julian Assange and Wikileaks in the televised special WikiSecrets.”

Officials from PBS confirm that hackers have infiltrated the website of the network, posting a story for “Lulz” on the topic of Tupac Shakur. Hackers are having a substantial impact in the ongoing story of  Wikileaks, Julian Assange and Bradley Manning with numerous companies, organizations and websites finding themselves the target of attack by Hackers.

A group calling itself “LulzSec” and “The Lulz Boat” has taken responsibility for this hacking attack and posted links to other hacktivist attacks.

WASHINGTON — PBS officials say hackers have cracked the network’s website, posting a phony story claiming dead rapper Tupac Shakur was alive in New Zealand, and a group that claimed responsibility for the hacking complained about a recent “Frontline” investigative news program on WikiLeaks. PBS confirmed Monday that the website had been hacked. The phony story had been taken down as of Monday morning. It had been posted on the site of the “PBS NewsHour” program, which is produced by WETA-TV in Arlington, Va. Continued at: http://www.forbes.com
