Greg Mitchell Wikileaks “ReMix” Art by Dekade-Z of Courage Is Contagious, @exiledsurfer & Dusky Ripley — Commemorating 185 Days of Blogging on Wikileaks! Greg Mitchell, the Wikileaks News & Views blogger at The Nation, has ended his blogging streak at 185 consecutive days!  This mammoth achievement has brought those of us interested in the Wikileaks story a daily dose of resources, insight and good spirit. And for this we all extend our thanks.

In honor of this accomplishment and contribution to a better understanding of all things Wikileaks, a group of artists including Dekade-Z of Courage Is Contagious, @exiledsurfer and Dusky Ripley have on very short notice produced a series of ReMixes as a way to say “Thanks Greg!”

“Well, it lasted more than three times as long as Joe DiMaggio’s 56-game hitting streak — and what few know is that the day after Joe D’s streak stopped, he started another long one….So this is not end of the blog but the (first) streak.” — @GregMitch

Greg Mitchell’s blogging on Wikileaks will not stop for long, thankfully. We look forward to future editions of “Wikileaks News & Views” and again, extend our thanks to Greg Mitchell and hope you will do the same.

Folks, I am off to Paris this afternoon and then on to visit with daughter, husband and new grandson in Nantes. So that will be it for the consecutive day streak for this WikiLeaks blog, ending streak (for now) at 185 days — starting with the run-up to the first cable releases back in late November.
