U.S. Cyberwar with China. Wikileaks Billboards. “Inside Wikileaks” and other books. The Wikileaks Movie, Film and Video can be a “slam dunk” for Hollywood studios. Julian Assange and Wikileaks, via “Cablegate,” have spurred unparalleled global impacts, debate and controversy in the realm of political negotiating and discourse. Additionally, with the Assange sex trial, the Wiki-Cave and celebrity attorneys there is more than enough of the thrill, intrigue and mystery to throw into the movie-making soup.

The picture is being painted right before our eyes, and awareness of Julian Assange and Wikileaks is lifting. This is due to so many cross-cutting issues, from Bradley Manning to the Wikileaks Billboard campaign. If crafted and marketed well, the Wikileaks Film and Movie has the potential to both get us thinking about current events and the world around us while at the same time keeping us glued to our seats with some good old action, thrill and adventure.

Just consider these topics on Cyberwar and Wikileaks, as reported so well by the Financial Express and Reuters. First, Wikileaks is described as adding a “whole new dimension” to politics, economics and media. Please read the entire Financial Express article…you won’t be sorry.  Secondly, Wikileaks cables have helped reveal the shocking extent to which the U.S. and China are going head to head in cyberwar. We’re talking terabytes of data fundamental to the futures of both countries (and thus the world). It is amazing to observe seemingly cordial meetings between US and Chinese diplomats on C-Span when there is such a competition and battle going on underneath the surface.

Global whistle-blowing website WikiLeaks has given the world its politics, economics, and all the more its media, a whole new dimension.

IN CYBERSPY VS. CYBERSPY, CHINA HAS THE EDGE

According to U.S. investigators, China has stolen terabytes of sensitive data — from usernames and passwords for State Department computers to designs for multi-billion dollar weapons systems. And Chinese hackers show no signs of letting up. “The attacks coming out of China are not only continuing, they are accelerating,” says Alan Paller, director of research at information-security training group SANS Institute in Washington, DC.
